His twenty plus years in lay biblical counseling and corporate leadership help define his writing and ministry.

Mike was raised in the Roman Catholic faith, but starting in high school, he turned away from organized religion and began what he calls his pagan decade. While always believing that God existed, during this time, he explored many of the world’s religions, seeking to understand how to earn his way into God’s favor while at the same time indulging in the desires of the flesh.
In his later twenties, God introduced him to his future wife, a meeting that eventually brought him to a saving knowledge of Christ.
He spent his career helping corporations improve their information technology departments and systems while volunteering as a teacher, counselor, board member, and prayer warrior in local churches and ministries.
His life took a pivotal turn for the better in 2008. As God opened his eyes, Mike began to understand the many lies he was still telling himself even after twenty-plus years as a Christian. Lies contrary to God’s word, such as “I’m not good enough” and “It’s all up to me to live a good life.” Eliminating these lies and affirming the truth of how God thinks and acts toward us accelerated his faith walk.
He became even more committed to helping others through sound biblical counseling and sharing the word. During this time, God also placed on his heart to write about the Millennium. After over twenty years of serving in biblical counseling and teaching, Mike launched Millenium Ministries at God’s direction in 2024.
